Under File; select New-Multitrack Session.
Name your session and click OK.
For Track 1, the input will show Default Stereo Input.
Use the drop down to select Mono, 500 RACK SLOT 1.
For Track 1, select output as Master.
Scroll down below the tracks and find the Master section.
Set output to Stereo-(03S) 500 RACK Headphone L.
On Track 1, click the (R) Record button, which will turn red.
On Track 1, click the (I) Input button, which will turn orange.
You should now see signal on the input meters and hear yourself in the
headphones or speakers.
Cockos Reaper
Select Options-Preferences. Then select Audio-Device.
Set Audio System to ASIO.
For ASIO Driver select Aphex ASIO.
Click the check box to Enable Inputs.
Set First to 1: Aphex 500 RACK SLOT 1.
Set Last to 6: Aphex 500 RACK S/PDIF 2.
Output Range: First should be 1: 500 RACK Analog L, Last should be 8: 500
RACK S/PDIF 2.
Set ASIO Thread Priority to Highest.
Click OK.
Go to File- New project.
Go to Track-Insert New Track.
The new track will appear in the edit window AND the mixer window below.
Below the fader in the edit window for the new track is a dropdown list that allows
you to select a mono or stereo input for the track. It should default to 500 RACK
SLOT 1. If not, you can select it.
