Track compression (COMP)
• Press the MENU button
repeatedly until a display like the
one shown opposite appears. Then
use the SEEK button to turn this
function on or off.
• With the function on, quieter
music is boosted and louder music
lowered to minimise repeated
volume adjustments.
• The COMP icon will illuminate
when compression is selected.
Track Scanning
• Press the SCAN button to scan up
or down the tracks selected. 'Scn'
flashes in the display and each
track is played for a few seconds in
turn. Press SCAN again to continue
listening to a track.
