Before following any of these Cuisinart
recipes, make sure the SmartPower
Duet

®

Blender/Food Processor is prop-

erly assembled. Follow the "Assembly"
directions on page 6 of this instruction
booklet for correct blender assembly
procedure. Note: Always turn power
base off prior to removing bowl
cover.

Frozen Beverages

FROZEN CRANBERRY

ORANGE MIMOSAS

Makes ten servings

1

cup cranberry juice cocktail,

chilled

1

cup orange juice, chilled

1-1/2 cups ice cubes

1

bottle (750 ml) brut

champagne, chilled

Place cranberry juice, orange juice,
and ice cubes in blender jar in order
listed. Place cover on blender jar.
Turn blender on and process on food
processor speed until thick and frothy,
about 30-40 seconds. Turn blender off.

Pour 1/3 cup juice mixture into each
champagne glass. Top with chilled
champagne. Serve immediately.

Place ingredients in blender jar in order
listed. Place cover on blender jar. Turn

processor speed until slushy, about
45-50 seconds. Turn blender off.
Serve immediately.
