This Quick Start Guide provides a quick reference for operating
your new Camera. Refer to the User’s Guide, which can be found
on the CD-ROM, for detailed instructions on how to use all of your
camera’s features. Before using the camera, make sure to read all
safety instructions and precautions outlined in the User’s Guide.

INSTALLING THE BATTERY PACK
The camera can use either the supplied 3.7V 900 mA Rechargeable Battery Pack or the Compact Power
Adapter as power source. Charge the Battery Pack before you use it.
1. Slide the Battery/Memory Card Door in the direction of the buttons.
2. Insert the battery pack in the direction of the button marked on the
battery pack.
3. Close the Battery/Memory Card Door.

CHARGING THE BATTERY PACK
1. Put the battery pack inside the camera body.
2. Connect the DC plug of the power adapter to the camera’s DC-IN in terminal. Plug the other end of the
adapter into a power outlet.
• While charging the battery pack, the green Self-Timer/Charge LED located at the front side of the
camera will light up. When charging is complete, the LED will turn off.
3. Unplug the adaptor from AC outlet first and then from the camera when charging is not needed.
Note: The camera can be used while charging.
