This section describes cabling specifications for Fabric Adapters.

Table 20

lists the supported cabling for Ethernet transceivers for stand-up adapters.

Table 15

summarizes maximum distances supported on fiber optic cable types for Fibre Channel

transceivers. This table assumes a 1.5 dB connection loss and an 850 nm laser source.
