Static DHCP Mappings configuration: The following shows the Static DHCP
Mappings
section of the “DHCP Server” page.

“DHCP Server” Page – Static DHCP Mappings

The Static DHCP Mappings section allows you to assign static IP addresses to
DHCP client devices. As a result, a client device is always assigned the same IP
address by the access point. Static DHCP mappings provide the advantage of a static
IP setup and allow configuration of IP addresses from a single point.

To assign a static IP address to a client device:

1. Click

the

Enabled checkbox. (To disable the mapping, click the checkbox

again to remove the checkmark.)

2. In

the

Desc. column, enter a description for the mapping.

3. In the MAC address column, enter the MAC address of the client device in

the format xx-xx-xx-xx-xx-xx.

4. In

the

IP Address column, enter the IP address to be assigned to the client

device.

Examples of static DHCP mappings follow.
