Listening to the messages
If there are new messages, the ANSWER lamp, the mailbox
indicator and the number of new messages flash.
You will hear beeps in the AUDIBLE ON mode.
To play back the messages
(REPEAT/SLOW)—V

Press the mailbox button (( MAILBOXQ.
(D or (T)).
The unit plays back from
the first new message.

[f a call come.s in during playback, the playback stops.
Tip
You can also listen to the messages by using the handset (see page 32).
To play back the message from a touch-tone phone, see page 34.
To skip the current message
Press (SKIP/QUICK) during playback.
To repeat the current message
Press ( REPEAT/SLOW ) during playback.
If you press the button again within two seconds after the current
message has started, you go to the previous message.
To stop playback
Press one of the mailbox button (( MAILBOX1 ),

To play back quickly
Keep pressing ( SKIP/QUICK ) during playback.
Release ( SKIP/QUICK) to return to normal playback.
To play back slowly
Keep pressing ( REPEAT/SLOW ) during playback.
Release ( REPEAT/SLOW ) to return to normal playback.
