Saving the camera images as another file format

If you select TIFF, the file
is created in Class R.

Making a new folder

In the [Folder] list box, folders contained in the
currently selected folder are listed. To add a new
folder to the list, click [Create New Folder]. In the

[Set Folder Name] dialog box, input the new folder

name and click [OK].

Click [OK].

Each image is stored in the specified folder in the
specified file type with a file name "psn»»***"
{*****■ serial number). The file is automatically
numbered in serial starting from one larger
number than the largest number of the files
already stored in the currently selected folder.

Saving in JPEG file type

When you select [JPEG] file type and click [OK],
the dialog box to define the image quality
(compression ratio) appears. You can select the
image quality within the range from 1 to 100.

Usually, the larger number you select, the lower
compression ratio with the better image quality

you get. The file size, however, becomes larger.

Click [OK] to save the image.
