Select the destination drive and folder in which the
images are to be saved and file type.

To select the drive: Click the desired drive in the

[Drive] list box.

To select the folder: Double-click the desired

folder in the [Folder] list box so that the
folder is displayed as currently selected
folder above the list box.

To select the file type: Click the file type in the

[Save as type] drop-down list box.

Making a new folder

In the [Folder] list box, folders contained in the
currently selected folder are listed. To add a new
folder to the list, click [Create New Folder]. In the

[Set Folder Name] dialog box, input the new folder

name and click [OK].

Press the [Esc] key. (You
cannot stop saving in the
infrared data

Note

If you select TIFF, the file
is created in Class R.

Click [OK].

Each image is stored in the specified folder in the
specified file type with a file name "psn***»*"

numbered in serial starting from one larger
number than the largest number of the files
already stored in the currently selected folder.

Saving in JPEG file type

When you select [JPEG] file type and click [OK],
the dialog box to define the image quality
(compression ratio) appears. You can select the
image quality within the range from f to 100.

Usually, the larger numberyou select, the lower
compression ratio with the better image quality
you get. The file size, however, becomes larger.

Click [OK] to save the image.
