Shutter Button Safety Lock
If you put the index of the rewind ring on the
red dot after the shutter is cocked, the shutter
button is locked. This is an added safety device
when
carrying
the
camera
with
shutter
cocked.
This also enables you to attach the cable release
after
the
shutter
is
cocked
without
fear
of
actuating it.
