Focus these subjects as follows:
1. Use the focus lock function on a substi­
tute subject next to the intended subject,
and then recompose the picture.
2. Hold the camera vertically and use the fo­
cus lock function,
3. Manually focus the subject following the
steps below.
Manual Focusing
1) Slide the lens focus mode switch to “M”.
2) Turn the manual focusing ring until the
subject is sharp.
