Metering Range:
EV 0-20 with 50mm f/1.4 at ISO 100. (EV 3-20
in high temperature and humidity)
Film Speed:
ISO 25-3200 is automatically set in full steps
according to DX code. For non DX-coded film,
set to ISO 25.
AF Control System:
TTL-SIR (TTL secondary imaged registration)
phase-detection type using BASIS (hase-stored
image sensor). AF in-focus symbol lights in
viewfinder and short beeper tone emits. Beeper
tone cannot be turned off. When AF is impos
sible, in-focus symbol blinks at 8Hz.
Focus Mode:
1. ONE SHOT mode: AF operation ends and
focus is locked once ranging is completed.
Shutter can be released upon completion of
ranging.
2. Manual: By rotating the manual focusing ring
after focus mode switch is set to "M”.
AF Working Range:
EVl-18 at ISO 100.
AF Auxiliary Light:
Built-in AF auxiliary light on EOS 750/750QD,
operates when the flash switch is set to AUTO.
The dedicated flash operates with EOS 850.
Both operate when flash condition detected.
