The Canonet G-III has both a direct contact

accessory shoe and conventional flash socket.

Automatic flash photography is possible with

flash bulbs and electronic flash units other

than the Canolite D.

Insert the flash into the accessory shoe and

connect its cord if it is not a cordless unit.

Three guide numbers are engraved in blue on

the aperture ring. They are for ASA 100 film

and distance in meters. For conversion to

ASA 25 and feet see the conversion table

below. With flash bulbs, set the shutter speed

to 1/30 sec. Any speed may be used with

electronic flash units.
