SCALE CALIBRATION INSTRUCTIONS

Periodically your scale may require calibration to ensure proper weighing. You
will need a 10-pound weight to calibrate the scale. Scale calibration is
accomplished, when needed, by the following instructions:

1. Remove all weight from the scale

2. Press and hold the “ON/TARE” key and
press the “lb-oz/grams” key once . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . “SLP0/SLP1”

3. Press the “ON/TARE” once to accept the
sleep mode setting and enter into calibration mode. . . .”64XX – 10XXX”

4. Press the “ON/TARE” key once
to zero the scale. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .“0”

5. Place 10 lbs on the scale . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . ..“8,9XX - 10,000”

6. Press “ON/TARE” key once
To accept calibration weight . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .“CAL” then * “Err”

7. Press the “OFF” key to exit calibration mode.

8. Remove the weight from the scale, press the “ON/TARE” key to continue the
normal weighing mode.

* Note: The “Err” displayed after completing calibration does not indicate a
calibration error. Since, the scale only weighs up-to 9 lbs. 15.5 oz., the ten
pounds on the scale causes the displayed message “Err”.
