13 Operation and Handing
This chapter provides you with important notices with regard to
operating the device. Observe the following notices to avoid
dangers and damages.
13.1 Power Supply and usage
For first use turn around the scale, battery boxes are on the
back of scale. Open the battery box and insert the batteries (2x
1,5V AAA) with correct polarity.
Slightly unfold the scale and put it on a hard flat surface. Put a
glass or container (≥Φ150mm) on top of the scale and make
sure it is hard and centered. Please make sure all 4 legs stand
firm on the hard surface. The glass platform is recommended.
13.2 Replacing the battery
When the LCD indicates low battery , open the battery
cover and replace the battery with new ones.
13.3 Operation
13.3.1 Weighing
Press the key of „ON/TARE“, the scale will be zero after „HELO“
appeared on the display. The scale entered the state of weight.
Put the food on the stainless steel scale surface, the weight of
food will appear on the display.
After weighing, press the key „MODE“ and the system returns to
state of time. If there is no operation for 60 seconds, the system
will enter the time mode automatically
