Never operate the appliance while the chamber is empty.

If you put more into the appliance’s coffee chamber than prescribed, this could overload the motor causing
the appliance to breakdown.

Never insert ice cubes into the attachments. This product is not suitable for processing ice, and attempting to
do so may result in the attachments breaking of cracking.

The food or liquid inserted into the attachments should not exceed 60°C. Processing foods with an initial
temperature greater than 60°C may damage the unit!

Some plants (for example carrots) contain natural colours which might cause staining of plastic parts. This
won’t have any effect on the usability of the appliance.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING

Warning! Before you clean the appliance it must be switched off and the mains plug must be
removed from the wall socket.

1. It is very important never to immerse the motor unit in water and not to hold it under running water.

2. No part of the appliance or its accessories should be cleaned in a dishwasher.

3. The unit should be cleaned after each use. The most important aspect is the careful cleaning of the bowl

attachments and the blade base. The interior of the attachments should be thoroughly wiped with a non-
fluffy, soft textile cloth, dampened slightly with lukewarm water. All parts should be completely dry before
the appliance is re-assembled.

4. Clean the outside cover of the appliance with a damp, soft, lint-free cloth and then wipe the cleaned

surfaces with a dry lint-free cloth. Take care not to allow any moisture inside the cover. Let the appliance dry
completely before re-using or storing it.

5. Never use solvent to clean the appliance (acetone, benzene, gasoline, alcohol, etc) because they could eat

into the casing or get inside the appliance damaging the inner parts. Do not use rough or abrasive cleaning
agents.

6. Never remove the cover of the appliance.

7. If you don’t plan to use the appliance for a while after cleaning it, place it in a nylon bag and store it in a place

that is free from dust, damp and frost. Do not wrap the mains cable around the appliance when storing it
because the insulation can deteriorate or break under these circumstances.
