Semi-Parametric Equalizer (Quazi-Parametric)

A fully Parametric Equalizer has controls for Band width, center
frequency and the level of boost or cut. These filters can be very difficult
to set up correctly. These EQs have lots of good as well as bad sound
combinations. Our Semi-Parametric filter has the Bandwidth fixed at a Q
of (1), or in musical terms it is set a one octave in width. The center
frequency is adjustable from 40 Hz to 10KHz. The level of boost or cut
is +/– 15 dB. There is also a switch to bypass the EQ so that it can be
used alone as a separate sound or with the other tone controls.

Three Band Tone Controls

The main tone control section is a simple Three Band tone equalizer. It
divides the audio spectrum into three bands: Low, Mid, and High. The
Low and High filters are shelving type filters. The Mid control is a band
pass type filter. This control gives you a broad general control of the
tone shaping.

Artist Controlled D.I. Selector and Level Control

This D.I. is adjustable from Microphone Level to line level. It can be
selected for pre tone or post tone operation. The front panel Level
Control makes adjusting the send to the house P.A. very quick and easy.

Output Limit Light

This LED indicator is located between the D.I. Level and Master Control
Level pots. It will come on when the amplifier hits full output power.
This should light up on occasion when the amplifier is played hard. It
should not be on all the time.
