STEP 3: Now with the fuel lines in place and the regulator set up with the correct fit-
tings, it is time to install the regulator on to the car. You are supplied with the means to
mount the regulator two different ways.
Option 1
There are (2) M6 Allen bolts provid-
ed with the regulator. There are a few un-
used mounting holes in the engine bay that
can be used with the provided bolts. Illus-
trated to the right is the fuel pressure regu-
lator mounted with (1) M6 bolt. We do not
recommend using just one bolt, but it will
work.
Option 2
The second option is to use the (2) 1/4-20
allen bolts and the (2) rubber rivnuts to
mount it anywhere with flat sheet metal.
First you must mark the holes where you
want to mount the regulator. Next, drill (2)
1/2 inch holes where you marked and in-
sert the rubber rivnuts. Finally, line the
mounting holes up on the regulator brack-
et and screw in the (2) 1/4 Allen bolts as
shown. Note: These pictures show the
regulator mounted to a flat piece of sheet
metal. They are used as a reference to
show how the rivnuts work.
