Calibration
The tachometer is configured by setting a slide switch to the number of cylinders. The switch is
located under a plate on the rear of the unit and is accessible by removing two screws (Refer to
illustration).
(Refer to label on rear of gauge)
For 4 cylinder applications, turn switch #1 ON only.
For 6 cylinder applications, turn switch #2 ON only.
For 8 cylinder applications, turn switch #3 ON only.
The extra switch position is not used.
Replace the switch access cover and screws. Do not over tighten screws.
Lamp Replacement
Remove the two rubber caps by pulling while gently rotating. Remove the lamp holders by
rotating counter clockwise. The lamps can be removed from their holder by pulling apart gently.
If the vehicle electrical system is 24V, then
connect positive from supply to this terminal.
Next, connect positive wire from tach
to the bracket of the resistor.
Remove these screws for accessing cylinder
selection switch
Cylinder selection switch cap and rubber
