Mounting
Mount the tachometer into the dash panel using brackets and screws provided. The
recommended hole size is: 3.32” diameter.
Testing
Confirm operation of the tachometer by starting the engine. When the ignition is “OFF” the
pointer is free to move to any position. When ignition is applied, the pointer will move to its
appropriate position.
Shiflite Adjustment
Push in on the setting knob while slightly rotating to ensure the proper engagement of the setting
mechanism. The RED warning lamp will turn ON and the pointer will move as the knob is
rotated. While keeping the knob pressed, turn knob clockwise or counterclockwise to move the
pointer to show the desired RPM set point. Caution: Do NOT force the knob past its stops.
Doing so may damage the unit.
Stationary Pointer
The stationary pointer can be set by turning the knob in the center of the dial to show a desired
RPM.
