The heater can be operated either with the switches located on the top right hand side of the
fire place heater or with the supplied remote control. Notes to keep in mind:
The switches/Control Panel are located at the top, right hand side of the heater (reference
only-below)
The Main Power switch
must be manually switched to the N ( position (first and
foremost) for Either the manual or remote functions to operate properly. This will set the heater
into “stand by” mode. From “stand by” mode, the rest of the controls are as follows:
High and Low modes will work one at a time. Attempting to use both modes at once will not work.
It may sometimes take a second or two, for the receiver to respond to the remote’s transmission. Be
patient. DO NOT press the buttons more than one time within two seconds to avoid cross signals.
For Manual Operation:
1. To turn the Flame Effect “ON”, press the O/I button once. The I/O LED light will light up to indicate
that the flame effect has initiated (and the flame effect will come on). Press the I/O button once more to
turn the flame effect off.
2. To initiate the Low Heat Mode (along with the blower), press the 750W button once. Press it again to
switch the Low Heat Mode Off.
3. To initiate the High Heat Mode (along with the blower), press the 1500W button once. Press it again to
switch the High Heat Mode Off.
For Remote Operation
1. To turn the Flame Effect “ON”, press the ON/OFF button once on the remote. The I/O LED light will
light up to indicate that the flame effect has initiated. Press the I/O button once more to turn the flame
effect off.
2. To initiate the Low Heat Mode, press the 750W button once. Press it again to switch the Low Heat
Mode Off.
3. To initiate the High Heat Mode, press the 1500W button once. Press it again to switch off the High
Heat Mode.
