The COMAND calculates the route as

Minimizing traffic routes
̈ Press the Mode soft key

The Edit routing mode menu will
appear.
Selectable traffic routes
ț Minimize freeways :
The system calculates the route with/
without minimizing freeways.
ț Minimize toll roads :
The system calculates the route with/
without minimizing toll roads.
ț Minimize ferries :
The system calculates the route with/
without minimizing ferry connections.
ț Minimize tunnels :
The system calculates the route with/
without minimizing tunnels.
̈ Push the joystick to g or G to
select a routing mode.
̈ Press E.
Switches the option on or off. You can
switch on more than one option.
̈ Press the Back soft key to confirm.
The setting is saved. The previous
navigation screen will appear.
