Warning
Before opening the unit, ensure the power cord is disconnected from the power outlet.
Bluetooth Option kit 130930 is intended to replace the Lantronix Matchport WLAN module on carrier board
109266. This combination provides for a simple RS-232 to Bluetooth converter, giving the user the ability to
send and receive data from the scale indicator via a Bluetooth connection.
The Bluetooth Option Kit contains the following:
• Bluetooth Module (130929)
• Antenna (98357)
• 6” Antenna Cable (112228)
• 8” Zip Tie (58579)
Installing the Module to the Board Assembly (PN 109266)
1. Remove power from the indicator and remove the enclosure cover to gain access to the board assembly.
2. Loosen the cord grip securing the antenna in the enclosure. If the antenna cable is connected to the
enclosure, remove the nut securing it and disconnect the antenna cable from the enclosure.
3. Remove the existing WLAN module by cutting the zip tie securing the module to the board
assembly. Carefully remove the module and antenna cable assembly, and the used zip tie. See
Figure 1.
