6 Lift-off Protection
A lift-off protection has to be provided generally. For this, a threaded rod (1), three nuts (2), one
serrated lock washer (4) and one washer (3) are required.

• Take care that the stud has sufficient space for movement in the bore hole.
• Counter nuts (2) so that there is a remaining distance (X) of 1…2 mm to the washer (3). Note that
1…2 mm space for lifting is indispensable to avoid force shunts.
