Serial Cable Connection
To allow for unattended system shutdown for your operating system,
connect the serial cables as shown in the diagram below.

Tel/Modem/DSL Connection
Plug incoming telephone/DSL line into the "in" socket at the rear panel of
the Office Series UPS. Use the provided telephone cord and plug one end
to the "Out" socket at the rear panel of the UPS. Plug the other end of the
phone cord to the input socket as shown below.
