Wireless mode










: Select from the list of wireless modes available:


802.11a (not supported by WLAN Setup for b/g)
This mode supports wireless A clients with data rates of up to
54Mbps in the frequency range of 5.4GHz.

802.11b only
This mode supports wireless B clients with data rates of up to
11Mbps in the frequency range of 2.4Hz.


802.11g only
This mode supports wireless G clients with data rates of up to
54Mbps in the frequency range of 2.4Hz.

802.11b/g mixed
This mode supports both wireless B and G clients.
The basic rates are: 1, 2, 5.5, 11, 6, 9, 12, 18, 24, 36, 48, and
54Mbps.

Country Code

: Choose the Country where you are located.

Channel

: This option allows you to select a frequency channel for

wireless communication.

Select SmartSelect to automatically scan and recommend
the best channel that can be utilised.

Tx Rate

: Allow you to choose the rate of data transmission from

1Mbps to Fully Auto.

Maximum Associations

: Allow you to limit the number of WLAN associations that can

be made from 1 to 128. Default: 32

Closed system

: The router will suppress and not broadcast its WLAN name

(SSID) when Closed system is enabled.
Closed system is disabled by default.

Act as RootAP

: The router will connect with one or multiple Transparent

Clients to create a point-to-point and point-to multi-point
connections network with 2 or more APs.
This connection method is fully compliant with 802.1h
standards.

VLANID

: Select and specify the VLANID.

This is a number to identify the different virtual network
segments to which the network devices are grouped.
This can be any number from 1 to 4094.
