DISPLAYS AND METERS

G. MULTI-PATH METER - This meter indicates the amount of multi-path, the

lower the reading the better.

H. SIGNAL STENGTH– This meter readout indicates the amount of signal the

tuner is receiving, the higher the better.

I. FREQUENCY DISPLAY – Displays the station via a numeric value, the

frequency that your tuner is dialed into. Display ranges from 87.5 MHz
through 108.5 MHz. This readout is controlled by the tuning knob (F on
diagram)

J. CENTER TUNE MAGIC EYE – Indicates the setting of the tuners front end in

relation to the station you are tuning to. To insure that the tuner is tuned to
its optimum position, the dark green part of the eye should be at its max.

NOTE: The magic eye is controlled by a motion sensor. When you are sitting and
listening the magic eye will go to half intensity. If you stand up and walk near the
tuner , the motion sensor will turn the magic eye to full brightness, and after one
minute of inactivity around the tuner, the Magic eye will return to the half intensity
state.
