Starting Procedures
Glow Plug Check
Fuel Check
Place car on car stand or block, this enable free
spinning / turning of wheels and prevents run-
aways.
To start up car. Turn on radio first, and then turn
on car. To turn car off shut down engine
(cover
exhaust with rag, or touch handle of screw driver to the fly
wheel)
. Turn car off, then turn off radio. Always in
that order. Failure to do so will cause a run-away car!
OFNA is not responsible for damage sustained by run-away
car.
Hold bumper or wing.Insert starter Power Adapter.
Hold starter button for two to three second
pulses per attempt only. If Power
Adapter button is held too long you could
burn out starter motor.
Make sure there is fuel in the tank.
Nitro content should be at 20%.
Stay with one fuel (brand) as much as possible.
If this is the first start up with this kit, fill gas
tank half way this will prevent hydro locking.
If this is the first start up with this kit you must
break the engine in. Please see instructions
for engine brake in. Not breaking in your
engine properly could destroy engine and
void OFNA warranty.
Make sure that the glow plug heater wire
(white wire) is fastened down properly.
If wire is not fastened all the way, there will be
no spark, the car will not start.
Use one copper washer (shim) on glow plug,
the second is a spare.
