going to the next p hone in the qu eu e. (D =0)

Hang Up Phone D elay: If this valu e is not zero, the p oller w ill w ait this m any
second s after receiving the p hone ID and then send a # to the em ergency p hone to
cau se it to hang u p . (D =1)

Consolidator D elay: If in the p hone string the p oller find s a *, it assu m es the p hone
is going to d ial a consolid ator and w ill insert this nu m ber of com m as before the *. A
com m a is a p au se to a m od em w hich can be controlled by the u ser in the m od em
initialization string. The d efau lt p au se tim e is 2 second s, so a valu e of 6 w ou ld w ait
12 second s before send ing d ata. (D =7)
Exam p le: If the p hone nu m ber is 4-5512*43* the m od em w ou ld d ial 45512,,,,,,*43*.
This w ou ld resu lt in the send ing of 45512 to the m od em , w aiting 12 second s (6x2)
and then send ing *43* to the consolid ator to poll p hone #3.

D ata Time Out: Once a p hone nu m ber has been d ialed this tim er starts. The p oller
w aits this m any second s to receive d ata back from the p hone. If this tim e elap ses
w ith ou t getting back the MIN IMUM RESULT LEN GTH of cha racters, w e conclu d e
that w e d id not get an answ er from the p hone and w e rep ort N O AN SWER. This is
an im p ortant valu e to change w hen d ealing w ith consolid ator d elays, esp ecially if
you have a long d elay and go over an ou tsid e line. (D =30)
