By default, the FROM field displays the nearest airport from the
present position.
For the example flight plan, a custom waypoint is to be defined from the
Mission Bay VOR (MZB) at a bearing of 270 degrees and a distance of
20.0 NM. The name used to define this custom waypoint is USR04. The
joystick knob is rotated or the touchscreen can be used to change the
letters and numbers in the IDENT field. The joystick knob is pushed left,
right, up, and down to move the location of the cursor, or the
touchscreen can be used. The joystick knob is rotated to change the
data fields as desired, or the touchscreen can be used to select the
desired location. The example custom waypoint is entered, as shown
in Figure 15--118.
