Safety Instructions for WiFi Bridge Kit

READ BEFORE OPERATING EQUIPMENT - SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS

1. Read and understand all safety and operating instructions prior to installing the WiFi Bridge Kit.

Retain Instructions: The safety and operating instructions should be retained for future reference.

2. Water and Moisture: Coaxial sealant around openings and connections of device and antenna will

prevent damage when used outdoors. Use device in a vertical position.

3. Never use a utility pole to mount the device and antenna or to use as a support. Never climb a utility pole.

4. Antenna installations can be dangerous because many times it involves the use of a ladder and a

possible fall. Do Not install antenna on a wet, snowy or windy day or if a thunderstorm is approaching

especially when on top of a building or ladder.

5. The antenna can be struck by lightning, which can be fatal. We recommend a licensed and insured

installation by a qualified person. If you are unsure of your competency regarding the installation, it is

best to seek the help of a qualified professional antenna installer.

6. Power (POE) Adapter Cord or Ethernet Cable. The power adapter must be used inside only. The power

cord and Ethernet cables should be positioned so they are not pinched, walked on, or have items placed

on top of it. Pay particular attention to cords at plugs, convenience receptacles, and the point where

they exit from the unit.

7. Unplug the power cord to the power adapter by gripping the power plug, not the cord. Operate this

device using only the correct type of power adapter included. If you are not sure of the type of power

supplied to your home, consult your dealer or local power company.

8. Do not overload wall outlets or extension cords. This can result in a risk of fire or electrical shock.

9. If the Bridge Kit is left unattended and unused for long periods of time, unplug the power adapter from

the wall outlet. This will prevent damage caused by storms, lightning or power line surges.

10. In the event of storms, unplug the power adapter from the wall outlet. This will prevent damage caused

by lightning or power line surges.

11. The installation or dismantling of any antenna near power lines is dangerous. Each year hundreds of

people are killed or injured while attempting to install or dismantle an antenna.

12. Do not attempt to service the electronic devices yourself. They should be serviced by qualified service

personnel when:

A. The power supply cord or the plug has been damaged, or

B. The Bridge Kit has been exposed to lightning, or

C. The Bridge Kit does not appear to operate normally or exhibits a marked change in performance.

The one year warranty covers parts, but does not cover any costs incurred in removal, shipping or

reinstallation of the product. This limited warranty does not apply if the product is damaged, deteriorates,

malfunctions or fails from: misuse, improper installation, abuse, neglect, accident, tampering, modification

of the product as originally manufactured, usage not in accordance with product instructions or acts of

nature such as damage caused by wind, lightning, ice or corrosive environments such as salt spray and acid rain.
