FACSIMILE Basic Operation
Transmitting a Document
Recording OGM Transmissible Document
To use the unit in the Automatic Answer mode, you
should record an outgoing message (OGM)
beforehand.

^ □ until a beep is heard and the

OGM indicator lights.
2 Record the Outgoing Message by
speaking clearly and loudly into the |||.
•speak about 8 inches away from the
MICROPHONE.
•If the OGM is over 10 seconds, the OGM
indicator will start blinking to warn you of the
remaining time (6 seconds).
3 When you have finished recording your
OGM
OGM, ^ □ again.
Push
4 The OGM will automatically play back,
so that you can confirm the recording.

To send a FAX, push the button.
To leave a message, speak after the beep."
•You must record the above or similar
message (except for the company’s name),
since in some cases, the caller will have to
push the
0 button to begin transmission,
after hearing the OGM.
•For the best facsimile operation, record
your OGM'within 12 seconds.

-NOTE-
•A document which is over 600 mm (23W) can
not be transmitted.
This will be indicated by the lighting of the
ALARM indicator and the sounding df the
alarm for 3 seconds.
•A document which has staples or clips can not
be transmitted.
•Letters on the margin of a A4 size paper may
not be recorded.
