When the printing starts to fade, purchase a new ribbon cassette, KX-RC10
(optional), and replace with the new ribbon cassette.
(Only use Panasonic KX-RC10. Other ribbons may damage the unit.)

Open the bottom cover by sliding the bottom cover knob to the right.

Push the printer open lever and pull up the printer as indicated by the
arrows.
