It is recom m ended that you replace

the outer foil at least every year and

the inner blade at least every two

years to m aintain your shaver’s cut­

ting perform ance.

Replacing the system outer foil

(see fig. 7)

Squeeze the system outer foil re­

lease buttons and lift the system

outer foil upward to rem ove it. To in­

sert the new system outer foil, press

down until it snaps into place.

Replacing the inner blades

(see fig. 8)

Squeeze the foil fram e release but­

tons and lift the foil fram e upward to

rem ove it. Rem ove the inner blades,

one at a tim e, by grasping them firm ly

at both ends and pulling straight

away from the shaver. To insert the

new inner blades, hold the blades,

one at a tim e, at both ends and press

downward until they snap into place.

The

have purchased is powered by a

nickel cadm ium battery which is re­

cyclable. At the end of it’s useful

life, under various state and local

laws, it is illegal to dispose of this

battery into your m unicipal waste

How to remove the built-in re­

chargeable battery

(see fig. 9)

The procedure described below is in­

tended only for rem oval of the re­

chargeable battery for the purpose

of proper disposal.

W ARNING : Do not attem pt to re­

place

the

built-in,

rechargeable

batteries yourself for the purpose

of reusing the shaver. This could

result in the risk of fire or electric

shock. Please contact your near­

est authorized Panasonic service

center.

1. Rem ove the cap, outer foil fram e

and inner blades.

2. Rem ove the two parts (a), (b) and

two screws (c).

3. Rem ove two screws (d) and bot­

tom cover (e).

4. Push the chassis out of the hous­

ing.

5. Rem ove the batteries from the

chassis.

Caution

• Do not charge the shaver where the

tem perature is below 0°C (32®F) or

above 40®C (104°F), where it will

be exposed to direct sunlight or a

heal source, or where there is a lot

of m oisture.

Use only the included shaver

charging adaptor RE3-80 to charge

the ES7003/ES7002 shaver.
