THE VIDEO CASSETTE
Inserting a Video Cassette (Auto Operation)
O Insert the video cassette as shown. The VTR will be
turned on automatically and the cassette will automati
cally be drawn into the VTR.

When a video cassette is inserted, the “BB" indicator
will light up.
Note:
•When a video cassette with broken out erasure prevention
tab (for example a pre-recorded tape) is inserted, play
back will start immediately.
•Use SKI video cassette tapes only.
Removing a Video Cassette

Press the Eject Button (A).
Even if the VTR is off, the VTR automatically turns itself on
when the Eject Button is pressed, and the cassette tape is
ejected. After that, the VTR will turn itself off again.
Erasure Prevention Tab
To prevent accidental
erasure

Break off the tab with
a screwdriver.
Cover the hole with
adhesive tape.
