Initial Setup
Set the Clock (Initial Power On)

Press POWER on the remote or unit.

If wrong language is set,
complete “Reset all unit
Memory Functions" steps
on page 37.
If you use a cable box,
it must be left on.
Press CH A to select
English.
OR
Press CH ▼ to select
Spanish (Español).
OR
Press VOL+ to select
French (Français).

the month.
2) Press ► to set.
* Likewise, set date,
year, time, and DST
(Daylight Saving Time).
To Make Corrections,
repeatedly press ► to move to error, then
correct.
Press ACTION to end setup.
(Clock starts.)
Tuner ON/OFF
When Tuner OFF is selected, your unit is automatically
in LINE mode. When Tuner ON is selected, Channel
selection, Input selection, Channel Add/Delete, etc. is
available.

• If you selected ON, go to “Setup Channel and
Auto Clock Set" selection on pages 10 and 11.
Press ACTION twice to return to the
normal screen.
Your unit can be set to Tuner ON
or Tuner OFF. When the unit is first
turned on, the tuner is set to off
and a prompt to set the clock is
displayed.
By selecting “TUNER:ON” (see
below left), you can place channels
in memory and use the Auto Clock
Set feature (see pages 10 and 11).
