3.2.2 Assigning an IP address to an Ethernet interface

Do as follows on each router:

Step 1 Run:

system-view

The system view appears.

Step 2 Run:

interface { ethernet | gigabitethernet }

interface-number

The Ethernet interface view appears.

Step 3 Run:

ip address

ip-address { mask

|

mask-length }

sub ]

This command configures the IP address of the Ethernet interface.
