storing a Second Area Code

You can program another local area code. This area code does not require
a “1” before it when dialing. After storing this area code, the display will

show the 10 digits (3-digit area code plus 7-digit phone number) after a call
is received from that area code. Calls will be recorded in the Caller List

without “1”. You cannot store a second area code unless your area code is

stored first (p. 18).

The TALK indicator light must be off before programming.

•j Press I PROGRAM!.

« The TALK indicator flashes.

p Press SEARCH 0

If no second area code has been

programmed, “—” will be displayed.

« If 3 beeps sound, your area code is not

stored. Store the code first (p. 18), then

« If you enter a wrong number, press

[CLEAR], and enter the correct number.
