Error Messages on Computer
When installing the software
The following messages appear only under Windows 3 1,311
Message Solution
The directory you typed is invalid
Please type a full path with drive letter for
example “C \KMESOUND"
Use less than eight characters
Use only valid characters (refer to the
DOS manual)
CONFIG SYS dose not exist in specified
Drive
Specify the name of the drive containing
CONFIG SYS in Boot Drive
Could not find the file [F ile n a m e ]
Please type the directory to look for this
file
File indicated in [Filename] is not found
Set the directory containing this file
Speafied Window directory does not existSpecify the correct directory-name in
Windows Directory
PCMCIA Controller is not found
installation will be terminated Make sure that your computer has
PCMCIA slot
Make sure that connection between your
