TCfW, TCWeb: Users Can Be Denied the Right to Mark Messages
Complete
A new user right has been added for KCS users: “May mark complete”. If selected, user has
the right to mark incoming messages as complete. This right is granted by default. If you
want to prevent a user from marking messages complete, clear this checkbox. This right is
enabled by default for all users. (SPR00101839, SPR00093259)
This right can be controlled both in TCfW and TCWeb clients:
▪ TCfW > User Profile window > Rights tab > May mark complete
▪ TCWeb > User properties > Rights tab > May Mark Complete

TC/Web: New Authorization Options
Two new authorization options have been added to TC/Web: (SPR00091144, SPR00091864)
▪ Before this release, users have been able to authorize messages without opening and
reading them. With this release, it is possible to force the user to display the message before
authorizing. This behavior is controlled by a new registry value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Topcall\TCWeb\AuthorizeUnreadMessagesEnable
The default value is the same as current behavior; i.e., users don't need to read a message
before authorizing.
▪ With this release, you can enable special authorization mode that automatically inserts the
sender of a message as the first authorizer. This way, senders are forced to look at their
messages and verify their accuracy. After the sender has authorized their own message, the
message goes to the second authorizer. This behavior is controlled by a new registry value:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Topcall\TCWeb\AuthorizeAdvancedMode
The default value is the same as current behavior; i.e., senders are not forced to look at and
authorize their own messages.
