TC/LINK: Suppress Page Break Between Notification and Message

TC/LINK can be configured to suppress page breaks between the notification text and the

image of the original message. (SPR00102188)

This behavior is controlled by a new registry value “HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software

\TOPCALL\<linkname>\TOPCALL\NotifImageFirstPage” that can take the following

values:
▪ 0: Notification image file has a page break after the notification text (default)
▪ 1: No page break between notification text and the start of original message image

TC/LINK: Conversion of EML Files with Embedded Attachments

TC/LINK can successfully convert EML files with embedded attachments. This applies to the

following links (FR2479):
▪ TC/LINK-SM
▪ TC/LINK-SDD
▪ TC/LINK-OC
▪ TC/LINK-MFP
▪ TC/LINK-SC7
▪ TC/LINK-MX7

TC/LINK-MD: Periodic Alerts to Detect Connection Loss

TC/LINK-MD can be configured to send UCP-31 alert operations during each poll cycle. If

there is no positive feedback for the UCP-31 command, connections are shut down and then

reinitialized. (SPR00102608)

This function is controlled by the following registry values:
▪ Ucp31Support - Set to 1 to send a UCP-31 alert command during each poll cycle (disabled

by default)

▪ Ucp31AdC - Address Code as required by the UCP 31 alert command
▪ Ucp31Pid - Protocol Identifier as required by the UCP 31 alert command

TC/LINK-MQ supports message segmentation and reassembly by the application. This is for

messages (transaction files or attachments) that are too large for the queue manager or the
