Support Changes
This section lists the changes in support level in this release of Kofax Communication Server.
Planned End of Support for Windows XP
In the next release of Kofax Communication Server, support for Windows XP will be
discontinued.
This applies to the following Kofax Communication Server components:
▪ Kofax Communication Server client applications
Planned End of Support for Windows Server 2003
In the next release of Kofax Communication Server, support for Windows Server 2003 will be
discontinued.
This applies to all Kofax Communication Server components.
Planned End of Support for Microsoft Exchange 2003
In the next release of Kofax Communication Server, support for Microsoft Exchange 2003 will
be discontinued. Only Microsoft Exchange 2007 and later will be supported.
TC/LINK-MX will not be supported any longer and you will not be able to install it anymore.
It is replaced by TC/LINK-MX7.
This applies to the following Kofax Communication Server components:
▪ TC/LINK-MX
▪ SPI-MX
▪ MWA-MX
Planned End of Support for Microsoft Office 2003
In the next release of Kofax Communication Server, support for Microsoft Office 2003 will be
discontinued. Only Microsoft Office 2007 and later will be supported.
This applies to the following Kofax Communication Server components:
▪ Kofax Communication Server client applications
▪ Document conversion
