IP Phone Running Messages

The following messages may be displayed in the LCD when running the

IP 720:

Message

Definition

AW UNREACHABLE!

Failed to connect to the AltiGen phone server. The user
is trying to register the IP phone with an invalid IP
phone’s IP address or the AltiGen Phone Server's IP
address is invalid.

Or, the network connection is lost in offhook or connect
state.

Refer to “AW is unreachable” section of
“Troubleshooting” on page 36.

Basic-Idle!

IP phone is operating in Basic mode.

Press #27 again to reactivate.

Check IP Phone Service

Verify extension is configured for dynamic.

DHCP FAIL!

Although DHCP was enabled, the IP 720 was not able to
receive the IP address from the DHCP server.

DUPLICATE IP!

Another device configured with the same IP address as
the IP phone is detected. The IP phone cannot function
correctly until this is corrected.

INVALID IP!

INPUT AGAIN...

The inputted IP address is invalid.

INVALID VAL!

During register of IP extension, an invalid response
(return value) returned from phone server.

NO IP ADDR!

IP 720 cannot attach an IP address due to network
failure.

No Network!

Phone has lost Ethernet connection.

REGISTER FAIL!

Cannot register to the AltiGen phone server.

REGISTER OKAY!

IP extension registered successfully.
