This function reduces the red-eye effect which results when the eyes
reflect light back from the flash

.

The interval between shots lengthens when the built-in
memory of the camera fills.

z

If the flash is used, the interval between shots lengthens
because the flash must charge.

Setting the Red-Eye Reduction Function

Shooting Mode

Select [Red-Eye].

1. Press the

button.

2. In the

menu, use the

button to select [Red-Eye].

Accept the setting.

1. Use the or button to select

[On] or [Off].

2. Press the

button.

When [On] is selected, the Red-Eye Reduction Lamp lights
orange before the flash fires.
