Special Instructions
If the snout diameter on the harmonic balancer to be used with the belt drive system measures larger
than 2.175,” it will need to be modified. The balancer must be machined to 2.155,” .750” from the
end. This will allow the balancer to properly mate to the crankshaft pulley.
The picture on the left is an unmodified balancer. The picture on the right is what a machined balancer
should look like.
