To unlock the screen using Bluetooth® devices

Make sure that your device and the Bluetooth® device are paired or connected

with each other.

From your Home screen, tap , then find and tap

Settings > Security

Screen lock > Bluetooth unlock.

Continue and click the device that you would like to use to unlock your

device, then tap

Continue.

Press the power key of your device, which will be unlocked if the Bluetooth®

device is connected.

If your device is disconnected from Bluetooth® devices, you need to enter a PIN or Pattern to

unlock your device.

To lock the screen

When the screen is active, briefly press the power key .

To view notifications from the lock screen

From the lock screen, drag the status bar fully downwards to select the

notification that you want to view.

Home screen

The Home screen is the starting point for using your device. It's similar to the desktop

on a computer screen. Your Home screen can have up to seven panes, which extend

beyond the regular screen display width. The number of Home screen panes is

represented by a series of dots at the top of the Home screen. The highlighted dot

shows the pane that you are currently in.
