To install the lag screw (if needed), slide the
remaining washer onto the lag screw. Pass the
lag screw through the center hole in the crossbar
mounting bracket. Secure the lag screw into the
guide hole, tightening until the ceiling fixture outlet
box is firmly mounted to the support beam.
Attaching the Canopy

To install the canopy hardware, set aside the
canopy hatch and attach the canopy to the crossbar
mounting bracket with three of the canopy screws
and lock washers. Using the right-angle screwdriver
provided, tighten each screw until the canopy hardware
is firmly mounted to the crossbar mounting bracket.
NOTE: On a sloped ceiling, align the canopy
opening with the top or peak of the room.
