1) Check fuse box for blown fuse №d replace

as nec^sary or reset circuit txeaker. Oo rxit
use a fuse or drcuit Ixeetor with a rating that
is higher than ^diat is specifted for your par­

ticular

circuit.

Check for proper fuse, only “Fusebon"

3) Remove check valv^ and clean or replace

if it is stuck open or dosed.

4) Check for low w)Kage conditions and/or
proper extension cord.
5) Disconnect №e other electrical appliances

from drcuit or operate the compressor on Its
own branch drcuit

Check tor proper gauge wire and cord length.

Bleed line by pushing lever on pressure
switch to OFF position which opens the pres­

sure release valve. If valve still does not
c^en, refrface it.

A defective check valve results in a constant
air

leak

at

the

pressure

release

valve

attached to the side of the pressure switch

the compressor is not running. Remove and

replace

check

valve

(do

not

overtighten).

Check

wiring

connection

inside

pressure

switch. Pressure switch cover can easily be
rerhoved by lifting cover at rear of switch.

Return to Sears Service Crailer to check and

replace if r»oessary.

Unless motor is visibly damaged, remove

motor and ha^re it checked at local Sears

Service Center.

Pressure Switch doesn't shut off

Move pressure switch lever to the "off' posi­

tion. If outfit doesn't shut off, replace the

switdi.

Return outfit to Sears Service Center to

check and fuljust or replace if necessary.

Htbe or hose tittirtgs loose.

Defective check valve.

Tighten fittings with audibJe teak and check
fittings

under

pressure

with

soapy

water

solution (do not overtighten).

A defective check valve results in a constant

pressure

attached to the side of the pressure switch
