SEHING THE SLEEP TIMER
The sleep timer function enables you to shut off
the power without pressing POWER button after
a desired period.
♦ You must use the remote control unit for the
following steps.
Press SLEEP button on the remote control repeat­
edly until desired SLEEP time is display.
The shut off time can be determined by the num­
ber of times you press the button. (The sleep timer
will be displayed on the screen when you press the
SLEEP button on remote control.)
SLEEPTIME DISPLAY
1 push 0 minute 0 MINUTE
2 pushes 30 minutes 30 MINUTE
3 pushes 60 minutes 60 MINUTE
4 pushes 90 minutes 90 MINUTE
5 pushes 120 minutes 120 MINUTE
6 pushes 0 minute 0 MINUTE
PLAYBACK
When a tape is inserted, the unit turns on automat­
ically^
Note: If the erase-protection tab has been re­
moved, the TV/VCR will start playback automat­
ically.
Press STOP button when playback is completed.
RENTAL PLAY
This function enables you to impiuve the picture
quality when playing back worn cassettes such as
those rented from a video shop.
Before playback, follow steps below.
Press MENU button on the remote control unit.

If playback does not begin automatically, press
PLAY button.
Press MENÜ button or return to original mode.
♦ Once you select the Rental Play mode, it stays
in effect even after you turn off the TV/VCR.
♦ To exit the Rental Play mode, repeat steps [1] to
[3]. Then, follow step [4], but select [OFF] for
normal playback.
