TROUBLE

^ PROBABLE CAUSE

REMEDY

1. Unit will not run,

or will hot shut off.

• Switch Actuator (Ffoat) not

free to work properly.

• Remove shipping rubber

band or unhook switch
actuator ring. (Rgure 7).

2. Water runs out of

hole in the water
level label on the

front of the unit.

• Too much water.

• Check FULL label in tank. Do

not overfill.

3. Unit will not dry

out completely.

• Switch actuator ring is not in

place.

• High humidity or low

temperature resulting in slow
evaporation.

• Connect switch actuator ring.

See instructions (page 7,
Rgure 7).

•Allow unit to continue running

until reservoir becomes dry.

4. Unit will not cycle

(Turn off) when

out of water.

• Roat Is hung up, or holder

is not on the filter tracks.

• Check float (page 7, Figure

9).

• Remove filter holder, install

on filter tracks (page 8,

Figure 10).

5. Filter does not

float.

• Roat may have leak.

• Cardboard packing piece

between motor support and
filter holder.

•Check float for leak, replace if

necessary.

•Remove cardboard.

CAUTION

Use only 32-14900 EPA Registered Bacteriostat available from SEARS Retail store.
Use of other water treatment products may damage the filter elements.

Under no circumstances should you use water treatment products designed for
Roto belt or Ultrasonic humidifiers.
